The University of Cambridge (UCAM) is one of the world's oldest universities, leading academic centres, and a self-governed community of scholars. The UCAM comprises more than 24,000 students from all walks of life and worldwide, over 9,000 staff, 31 colleges, and more than 150 departments, faculties, schools, and other institutions. It has an annual budget of £2.32 billion.
The UCAM research group participating in the JIDEP project is the Computational Modelling Group (CoMo) at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. In JIDEP, the CoMo Group will define application-specific ontological models and create ontology-based data documentation to enable data interoperability and shareability.
