UNIVERSITA DI TRENTO (UNITN)

Established in 1962, the University of Trento, is recognised as a leading academic institution in Italy and Europe for its quality of research and international outreach, particularly in ICT, economics, and sociology.

The Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI, https://www.disi.unitn.it/it) has more than 50 faculty members, and has hosted 200 full-time Ph.D. students and 100 researchers, becoming recognised as the top computer science department in Italy. The KnowDive research group (http://knowdive.disi.unitn.it/) has been in the forefront of research as well as industrial projects in cross-border data and knowledge integration. UNITN has extensive expertise in Ontology modeling, data and knowledge integration, methodology and technology development. In JIDEP project they will develop iTELOS, a data integration methodology building purpose-specific Knowledge Graphs (KG). They will provide data search and sharing tools for schema and datasets.
