UNIVERSITY OF PARDUBICE (UPCE)

The main role of the UPCE research group is the research of the technology process for disassembling electronic components from PCB, where selected components could be usable for second-life applications. Within research activities, the desoldering paste and the technology process of its printing by AM techniques is developed.
The JIDEP project involves the Material Printing group led by Tomáš Syrový, which is part of the Department of Graphic Arts and Photophysics. This research group has been involved for many years in applied research in the field of material printing, both with conventional R2R printing technologies and with AM/3D printing technologies. In several research and industrial projects, the research group is responsible for the research of technological processes for printing functional structures, as well as the printing materials (inks, filaments) from which they are prepared. A large part of the research activities are focused on the printing of sensor structures for various fields of applications (medical, automotive, food, environmental, energy, batteries), but also on other functional elements such as displays, antennas, batteries, etc.
